In December 2004, Manoj Jacob began recording an 8 song compilation titled ‘Zaitz Farm Road’. Written, composed and performed by Manoj, these songs had been put together over a period of 9 years starting from 1995. ‘Zaitz Farm Road’ officially went public in May 2005 as an independent release, with Manoj himself donning the roles of advertiser, marketer and salesman. This was done under the name Shoestring in fond memory of that magnificent budget he had at his disposal.
